Retired Cpl. Tyler Wilson set a goal, to ascend the Manitou Springs Incline in his wheelchair.

Cpl. Wilson went to climb the Incline with a small group of people on June 10. They helped Cpl. Wilson keep his balance as he maneuvered his wheelchair with his arms, but temperatures were unforgiving that day, reaching over 90 degrees.

Cpl. Wilson made it all the way up to Barr Trail, before having to stop due to heat. He had the help of family and 4th Infantry Division Soldiers. Fort Carson posted a photo to their Facebook page of the incredible group effort.

In the photo, his wife, Crystal Wilson, Spc. Adrian Little, and Spc. Breanna Smith. Kelley Farmer, vice president of Operation Enduring Warrior, organized the first ever recorded attempt to climb theIncline in a wheelchair.
