A Pueblo woman decided to take matters into her own hands after a study came out last month on pot shops recommending women use marijuana products during pregnancy.

The Colorado School of Medicine and the University of Utah contacted 400 dispensaries in Colorado with 70 percent suggesting using pot products to treat nausea for pregnant women.

This prompted Aubree Adams to take action Friday afternoon. Adams dropped off baby bibs all over Pueblo County in hopes to sway pot shops from suggesting marijuana use in treating morning sickness.

"We want the marijuana shops to be held accountable for them impersonating medical professionals and harming unborn children," Adams said.

Adams says the group she represents also dropped off bibs at marijuana shops in Denver.
