Investigators are now saying a house fire in Cañon City is suspicious.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation are working to identify the victim found inside the home 1800 block of Pinion Ave. Investigators also say the death is suspicious.
Authorities have not yet positively identified the victim, or released any details about what might have happened leading up to the fire. The fire was reported at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22.
