A man is dead after a shooting Thursday night at The Regal apartments in Colorado Springs.
Police responded to the scene on Academy Boulevard south of Pikes Peak Avenue just after 9:10 p.m. for a shots fired call. When they arrived, they found the victim’s body in an apartment. It’s unclear what led up to the shooting and police say they have no suspect information at this time. They are interviewing witnesses and actively working to identify suspects in this criminal investigation.
The victim has not yet been identified.
