Extremely high winds in southern Colorado blew over two semi-trucks along I-25 near Aguilar Rd. outside of Colorado City at about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
A truck carrying a load of strawberries was blown over, spilling the fruit all over the southbound lanes of the highway. All lanes are closed for clean-up.
A high wind advisory is in place for all high profile vehicles and vehicles carrying light loads between Colorado City and the New Mexico border. Trucks are restricted southbound in I-25 between Walsenburg and New Mexico.
