KOAA News 5 Sports, the #1 NBC affiliate in beautiful Colorado Springs is looking for a Sports Reporter-MMJ who is a compelling storyteller, knows how to focus on stories centered around local sports that matter to the community, and can develop content for multiple platforms. Colorado Springs is “Olympic City USA” and borders Denver’s professional sports franchises (Broncos, Rockies, AV’s and Nuggets) – this is a dream sports job!
The successful candidate must be a team player who understands what it means to be a guardian of your work, our station and our community. You must be able to enterprise compelling stories, shoot, edit and produce. KOAA is a digital first organization. Experience with ENPS and EDIUS editing systems are a plus. A college degree and at least two to three years experience are preferred. A clean driving record is a must.
