HUERFANO CO — An alert from the district said all Huerfano Re-1 schools were scheduled to close early Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 2:00 p.m., due to a water main break and necessary repairs.
In the alert, there was also a plan to delay schools for 2 hours on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
A follow-up message said that delay will no longer be needed.
The district said repairs were completed early enough to resume a regular schedule Wednesday.
