NASA's Curiosity rover has captured its highest-resolution panoramic picture yet of the surface of Mars.
More than 1,000 images taken using the rovers Mast Camera over the 2019 Thanksgiving holiday were carefully put together over the last few months to compose the image.
The composite contains 1.8 billion pixels of the Martian landscape.
The rover also used its medium-angle lens to create a lower-resolution image, still nearly 650 million pixels, that shows the rover's deck and robotic arm.
A special tool on NASA's website lets users zoom in for a closer look at our nearest celestial neighbor.
