Brie and Baby Three: Home for the Holidays

It is that time of the year. Everyone in our house is sick. Between fevers, a horrific cough, exhaustion and boogers we’re all held up... trying to find ways not to go stir-crazy.

Googling a lot of “what to do on a rainy day”. So far we’ve mastered puzzles, fort building books and played with our new Christmas toys.

We did travel north to my families house for Christmas and were were able to get a picture of the boys with all of their cousins on my side. I told you I have a large family! Surprisingly the cooperation was not too bad with a little candy bribing.

The boys of course loved Christmas morning and everything that went with it. Mav got his pizza! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday with loved ones near or far.

As part of our Christmas present, this week we got a clean bill of health for the new baby. I’m now about halfway through the pregnancy. Yay!

Mav has dubbed this baby “Brick”. Why? Well duh, “brick houses are strong and wolves can’t blow them down. And Brick, She’s really strong mom” We don’t know if it’s a she. In fact we’re actually waiting to find out. Eeek. Never thought I’d be able to do that. I’m a planner. But if this is going to be our last baby we thought it would give a whole new level of excitement at the birth.

However I have a sneaking suspicion this is another boy. based on clues I’m reading way too far into. It really bugs my husband that I can’t just sit and wait.

My mom compares it to me with Christmas presents. I want it to be a surprise, but then I stare at it, shake it, feel all around. And soon enough I have ruined the surprise.

Oh well I would be SO happy with three boys. #Boymom for life. And I would LOVE to have a little girl. Honestly, I’m not favoring one over the other. Except Ryan and I are a great team when it comes to picking out a girl name. We have that one set in stone. As for a boy. It is impossible. Why are boy names so hard?? PLEASE send us suggestions!
