COLORADO SPRINGS — Looking for something to do this weekend? The News5 team has come up with a list of events that you should check out in Southern Colorado.

15th Annual Flavor of Pueblo
What: The 15th Annual Flavor of Pueblo gives you the opportunity to taste delicious flavors of Pueblo.
When: March 12
Where: Pueblo Convention Center
Time: 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Cost: $25 in advance, $30 the day of the event and at the door

Lonely Hope Art Opening
What: Jon Sargent asked people across the United States to share their experiences with loneliness and the positive ways they've dealt with them. From a selection of these writings, Jon completed a painting where he responded to a word or phrase that resonated with him. A total of 18 paintings and their writings comprise his solo show, "Lonely Hope".
When: March 6
Time: 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Where: Manitou Art Center, 513 Manitou Ave., Manitou Springs

Garden of the Gods History Hike
What: Come hike through history at the Garden of the Gods. Join a city of Colorado Springs Park Interreter to explore the human history of the park. Along the way you will see sites where structures once stood and hear stories of people who contributed to the park's fascinating history. This program starts in the Red Rocks Room followed by an approximately 2.5 mile loop hike that will start and end at the Visitor Center. Dress foe weather, wear hiking shoes.
When: March 7
Time: 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.

Gallop in the Garden Weekly 5K Fun Run
What: Run, jog or walk in Garden of the Gods Park! Meet in the lower lobby of the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center. Join every Thursday for the Gallop in the Garden 5K Fun Run! Meet in the lower lobby of the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center.
When: March 5
Time: 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Where: Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center, 1805 N. 30th St., Colorado Springs

Knitting with a View
What: Join us for a relaxing afternoon of knitting or crocheting at the Garden of the Gods. Meet fellow hand-crafters and enjoy the best view in Colorado Springs. Bring your own projects and or make an easy charity project.
When: March 8
Time: 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
Cost: $5
