Police are investigating a serious crash on southbound I-25 at Circle Drive involving a motorcyclist. Initial reports indicate the rider went over the edge of the road in the crash and suffered serious injuries.
All northbound and southbound lanes of I-25 at Circle Drive were blocked to allow a medical evacuation helicopter room to land on the road.
CDOT reopened northbound lanes of I-25 just after 9:20 a.m., but southbound lanes of I-25 at Circle Drive opened around 10:00 a.m.
Details on the identity of the driver and a possible cause are not yet available.
