There are plenty of holiday events going on around town this weekend.
Santa Run- pueblo
The Pueblo Santa Run 5k will take off from the Riverwalk on Saturday morning. The 1 mile kids fun run gets going at 8:30 am and the 5k starts at 9 am. Registration will run $35 for the 5k. The kids fun run is free. All proceeds go to Coats for Kids. Register and find more informationhere.
Holiday Show
The Flying W Wranglers will perform their Holiday Show this Saturday at 7 pm to gallop into the holiday season. Tickets for the show at The Stargazers Theatre will run $15 ahead of time, $20 day of, plus a ticketing fee. Buy tickets and find more information here.
Holiday Chocolate Festival
Calling all chocolate lovers! The Holiday Chocolate Festival is back in Colorado Springs this weekend for its 10th year. Over 100,000 samples will be at the Colorado Springs Event Center this Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm. In addition to the samples, there will be chocolate available for purchase (hint hint for some holiday gifts), holiday activities, and live entertainment. Electric Safari
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo will begin their annual Electric Safari on Friday. Light sculptures will be set up around the zoo with indoor animal exhibits, interactive activities, a Santa Zone, animal shows, and keeper talks. There will be plenty of opportunities to check everything out through January 1st from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm each evening. Tickets run $12.75 for adults and $8.75 for children under 12.
