On February 27, KOAA changed its main transmitter frequency as part of an upgrade for a more powerful HD signal. Right now, viewers trying to get our signal via antenna in the Cañon City area are having a difficult time due to another transmitter interfering on the same frequency.
We are working with the Colorado Department of Corrections to check if it's their equipment or another source. Once that is located and turned off, KOAA's signal will be rebroadcast into Cañon City.
