4th of July events in Southern Colorado

Whether you want to enjoy a firework show or some good food there's something for everyone this 4th of July!

In Manitou Springs, their 4th of July celebration takes place at Soda Springs Park and includes a free concert and plenty of food. The concert is free and goes from noon to 4:30 pm.

In Old Colorado City, there's a picnic out at Bancroft Park with games, music and lunch. Meal tickets are $8 for adults, and $5 for kids 10 and under.

In Monument, you can celebrate at the Tri-Lakes 4th of July celebration. There's a fun run, pancake breakfast and of course, the big parade! You may even spot the News 5 crew out there so be sure to say hello! The parade starts at 10 a.m. There will also be a street fair, vendors, plenty of floats and acts and of course, the celebration wouldn't be complete without fireworks. Those will happen over Palmer Lake after the sun sets.

Another place to watch fireworks is the Memorial Park Independence Daycelebration in Colorado Springs. The performance is free with a performance from the Colorado Springs Philharmonic at 7:30 p.m. The fireworks start at 9 p.m.

In Pueblo , you can head over to the Riverwalk for a great show! Gates open at 5 PM with fireworks at 9:15 PM. It's $5 at the gate $3 for kids and military.

If you're in Pueblo earlier in day, don't forget to visit the famous Pueblo West Wet Parade. The Parade starts at 10 a.m. sharp.
