Comfortable overnight, warming up in time for the weekend

Tonight’s Forecast:
The clouds tonight will thin out by Friday morning and we’ll see low temperatures in the 40s. Then moving into another gorgeous Spring day across Colorado with warm (but not hot) temperatures in the 70s in Pueblo and across the plains. We’ll experience highs in the mid-60s in Colorado Springs, while up in higher elevations it will remain slightly cooler with highs in the upper 50s.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low –  39; High – 66. Cloudy skies overnight with very light winds out of the north-northeast give way to mostly cloudy skies in the morning.

PUEBLO: Low – 42; High – 75.  Mostly cloudy skies overnight with light winds out of the north. The clouds will stick around in the morning as we warm up.

CANON CITY: Low –  42; High – 72. Mostly cloudy skies overnight with temperatures in the low 50s for most of the night. Light westerly winds.

WOODLAND PARK: Low – 33; High – 57.  Mostly cloudy skies with winds out of the west-southwest as temperatures hover just above freezing in the City Above the Clouds.

TRI-LAKES: Low – 36; High – 61. Cloudy skies overnight with winds shifting from the west-southwest to the west just under 10 mph all evening.

PLAINS: Low – 47; High – 77.  Partly cloudy skies across the plains with winds out of the southeast around 15 mph all evening long. Be ready for warmer temperatures than the rest of the region Friday as clouds stick around.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low – 41; High – 69.  Mostly cloudy skies overnight with winds out of the west around 10 mph.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK:
Friday will start off with mostly clear skies, with only a few areas seeing some cirrus clouds scattered across the sky. We’ll be dry on Friday with warmer air than today and a bit more wind through the afternoon. Saturday is going to be cloudier and a few degrees cooler through the region, with only a small chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the Pikes Peak region. Sunday through Tuesday looks warm, sunny and dry.
