Today’s Forecast:
Despite more cloud cover, we’ll still feel fantastic in the afternoon! Highs will warm into the 50s across the lower elevations, but a few areas like La Junta and Pueblo will only be a couple degrees away from 60! While we stay dry in southern Colorado, heavy snow will continue to fall across the mountains to our west, meaning any drives to and near Grand Junction could be slick today.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 54; Low – 28. Partly sunny and mild with a stronger afternoon breeze.

PUEBLO: High – 59; Low – 26. Partly sunny and warm with a stronger afternoon breeze.

CANON CITY: High – 55; Low – 32. Partly sunny and mild with a light afternoon breeze.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 46; Low – 23. Mostly cloudy and cool with a light afternoon breeze.

TRI-LAKES: High – 40s; Low – 20s. Partly sunny and cool with a stronger afternoon breeze.

PLAINS: High – 50s; Low – 20s. Partly sunny and warm with a stronger afternoon breeze.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 50s; Low – 20s. Partly sunny and warm with a stronger afternoon breeze.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK:
Temperatures will be roughly the same as today for southern Colorado tomorrow, but colder air arrives by Friday and Saturday. Snow is still expected on Friday, but with how warm we will be on Thursday and Friday before the snow starts, this looks like a low impact event. Monument Hill and the southern mountains will see the slickest commutes Friday evening, but I-25 will likely stay just wet for the majority of its stretch through southern Colorado.
