FORECAST: Believe it or not, this incredible stretch not only continues, but gets even warmer…as you head to Grandma’s house Thursday. A dry, Pacific cold front passes through Thursday night, but since it is of Pacific origin, the temp drop wont be much, come Friday.
A Polar front will drop through Saturday night, and will have a more profound effect on our temps Sunday.

PLAINS: Low – 26, High – 66. Clear skies and cold temps tonight. Sunny Thursday morning, increasing afternoon clouds. Quite mild.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low – 27, High – 64. Starry and cold tonight. Sunny through Noon, then increasing clouds, Thursday.
EXTENDED OUTLOOK: Friday is a bit of a transitional day, sky-wise. Expect a mix of sun & clouds and breezy conditions. Saturday, dry until a cool front sets off a scattered shower or two late in the day, and then back in full sun for Sunday. Temp-wise, expect high 50s Friday, around 60F Saturday, but back in to the 40s Sunday.
