Forecast: We went from 60F Saturday, to 20s and snowing on Sunday. Only in Colorado! Snow is winding down in Monument, Springs, Woodland Park, Fountain, and will focus more from Pueblo south to Trinidad this evening, before winding down there by Midnight. No shocking snow totals yet, but Monument coming in under (2-3″ as of this post), Manitou coming in over (7″ as of this post). Very satisfied with nearly everywhere else, so if I miss just two towns, I’m thrilled! Most interesting is Colorado Springs itself, a wide range, from 3″ at the airport (East side), to 6″ on the far west side! Double your snow, just by crossing town! Other totals to date, Divide 8″, Pueblo 2 or 3″, Pueblo West 3 or 4″, Canon City 2″.

Final flurries end Monday midday, with some sunny breaks throughout the day, but beware icy spots through the morning and high glare off fresh snow! A very cold Monday night. Tuesday is still a transitional day, and it still looks fantastic Wednesday & Thursday, with rapid snow melt. No further storms in sight, for quite awhile, after this.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low – 15, High – 28. Cloudy, flurries tonight. Partly sunny, occasional flurry Monday.

PUEBLO: Low – 16, High – 32. Light snow till midnight, tonight. Partly sunny with a few flurries Monday.

WOODLAND PARK: Low – 3, High – 20. Cloudy, flurries tonight. Mixed sun & clouds Monday, a few flurries, cold!

TRI-LAKES: Low – 7, High – 23. Clouds, flurries tonight. Partly sunny and cold Monday.

PLAINS: Low – 18, High – 32. Cloudy, light snow or flurries tonight. Partly sunny and cold Monday.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low – 15, High – 26. Light snow tonight, ending overnight. Partly sunny with a few flurries Monday, cold!

EXTENDED OUTLOOK: After a major temp plunge Sunday & Monday, Tuesday is a transitional day, and it turns amazing for next Wednesday through…who knows!
