Today’s Forecast:
Southern Colorado saw a fantastic long and steady rain on Wednesday with a few areas out east grabbing just about an inch of rain! Today we are going to see patchy fog through the early morning and then full sunshine right into the mid afternoon. A second wave of energy coming out of the west will push a few showers in the central mountains, but just cloud cover out across southern Colorado.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 65; Low – 39. Sunshine returning through the early afternoon with cloud cover returning by the end of the day. It’ll be mild and breezy through the afternoon.
PUEBLO: High – 71; Low – 39. Patchy morning fog with clear and sunny skies into the end of the day. We’ll see warm temperatures with a light breeze.
CANON CITY: High – 57; Low – 40. Sunshine returns through the early afternoon with mild afternoon highs and a light breeze.
WOODLAND PARK: High – 48; Low – 31. Sunny skies through the early afternoon but cloud cover will return by the end of the day with a light wind.
TRI-LAKES: High – 50s; Low – 30s. Sunshine through the early afternoon with clouds returning by the end of the day. The breeze will be stronger through the afternoon with mild high temps.
PLAINS: High – 70s; Low – 30/40s. A few patchy areas of morning fog with clear and sunny skies through most of the afternoon. Expect warm temperatures with a light breeze.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 60s; Low – 30s. Sunshine returning through the afternoon with very mild high temperatures and a nice afternoon breeze.
Extended Forecast:
Cloud cover will be thicker through overnight hours and then thinner by Friday morning. Lows will be chilly tonight but highs tomorrow will bounce back quickly into the 60s and 70s across the lower elevations! We’ll stay dry through the weekend with highs will into the 70s on Saturday before a cold front pushes temps back into the 50 and 60s for Sunday. Halloween looks cold and wet in the morning with rain and snow coming Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
