There may be some intermittent flurries or sprinkles in the mountains west of the Divide tonight and Friday, but other than that, we are talking high and dry through Monday. The main thing to note is, a warming trend that will keep on keeping on.

A large and elongated ridge of High Pressure, extending from the PAC NW coast to Wyoming, will come to dominate our weather. And simply by “persistence”…where even a cool air mass tends to warm up from one day to the next, our numbers will rise. But, there will be some down-slope to aid the process, as well. So that, temps will get well into the 60s (and 70s) the next 2 afternoons. In fact, Sunday and Monday, widespread 70s are likely.

Colorado Springs: Low: 38, High: 65. Clear and seasonably cold tonight. Mainly sunny, warmer Friday.

Pueblo: Low: 37, High: 70. Clear and seasonably cold tonight. Mainly sunny, warmer Friday.

Canon City: Low: 38, High: 68. Clear tonight. Sunny & warmer tomorrow.

Woodland Park: Low: 30, High: 55. Clear and cold tonight. Mostly sunny, mild Friday.

Tri-Lakes: Low: 33, High: 60. Clear and cold tonight. Bright Friday.

The Plains: Low: 38, High: 72. Clearing early, and seasonably cold tonight. Mainly sunny, warmer Friday.

Trinidad/Walsenburg: Low: 36, High: 64. Clear or clearing quickly this evening, and seasonably cold tonight. Mainly sunny, warmer Friday.

Extended Outlook…No precip in our forecast through Monday, with that advertised warming trend coming. The trend is at or above average temps for the foreseeable future, really.
