Today’s Forecast:

Another hot and well above average day with highs in the upper 80’s and 90’s for most areas. We’ll have a few more clouds in the mix today compared to the past few days, especially over and near the higher elevations. Despite a few clouds we stay dry. Mainly clear tonight with lows in the 50’s.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 90; Low – 57. Hot and mainly sunny with a few pm clouds.

PUEBLO: High – 96; Low – 58. Sunny and very hot to end the weekend.

CANON CITY: High – 93; Low – 60. Hot and dry with a few areas of pm clouds.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 78; Low – 53. A few PM clouds, but dry and very warm today.

TRI-LAKES: High – 80’s; Low – 50’s. Hot and dry again for your Sunday.

PLAINS: High – 90’s; Low – 60. Staying very hot and dry to wrap up the weekend.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 90’s; Low – 50’s. Mainly sunny and hot for today.

REST OF THE WEEK: Mainly sunny skies and hot temperatures continue through Tuesday with highs steady in the upper 80’s and 90’s. Wednesday will be a tad breezy at times ahead of a cold front. We’ll cool off just a couple of degrees on Wednesday with some additional cloud cover and a small chance for a pm shower/storm. Most of this activity will be focused on the mountains. Cooler air arrives behind the front, but models are backing off on how cool that air gets. Looking like we cool into the 70’s and 80’s by Friday, which will be a little closer to average for this time of year.
