Another very hot day with record temperatures likely from Springs to Pueblo. Dry and and a bit of a down slope breeze work together today to grab some big time heat across southern Colorado. The cloud cover will pose a bit of a challenge for temperatures to break the record today, but we should still have enough morning and early afternoon sunshine to send our highs soaring above average for this time of year. An isolated shower is possible over the mountains and Palmer Divide today but most of us stay completely dry.
Cloud cover is going to challenge the highs we’ll see later today but I think we’ll still end up tying the record in Springs and Pueblo pic.twitter.com/i5qAJPIT7k
