A cold front tonight brings an absolutely gorgeous day today! Northerly winds this morning will turn easterly this afternoon and temperatures will warm up towards average. East afternoon winds could produce some late day to early evening isolated showers and thunderstorms along the I-25 corridor and plains, but that chance remains low. Tonight, other than a stray early evening shower, should be dry but chilly with lows falling to the low 50s and 40s out in the mountains!

TRI-LAKES: High – 70s; Low – 40s. Beautiful day across the Tri Lakes area with gusty winds through the day and a small chance for late day/early evening isolated showers.
PLAINS: High – 80s; Low – 50s. Warm and windy today across the plains with a chance for isolated late day/evening showers and thunderstorms.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 80s; Low – 60s. Warm and dry today with gusty winds through the afternoon.
WEEKEND OUTLOOK OR NEXT WEATHER MAKER:
Temperatures stay beautiful Wednesday with temperatures in the upper 70s for the Springs and mid 80s in Pueblo. We’ll bring the heat back by Thursday and Friday with a second cold front knocking temperatures back into the weekend. Rain chances are small through the weekend but right now we’re eyeing Saturday and Monday as the next couple days for rain.
