Today’s Forecast:
Hot conditions return for the weekend. Highs soar into the upper 80’s and 90’s by this afternoon. Skies will be mainly sunny with some pm cloud cover, mainly over the mountains. Any showers and storms will be few and far between, focused on the mountains. Winds will be around 5-15 mph.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 89; Low – 60. Mainly sunny with a few pm clouds and warmer temperatures.

PUEBLO: High – 97; Low – 62. Sunny skies and hot temperatures for today and tomorrow.

CANON CITY: High – 95; Low – 64. A few pm clouds and warmer temperatures for your Saturday.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 82; Low – 54. A warmer day with a very small chance for a passing shower/storm.

TRI-LAKES: High – 80’s; Low – 50’s. A hotter day with a few clouds developing during the second half of the day.

PLAINS: High – 90’s; Low – 60’s. A mainly sunny and hot day to kick off the weekend.

NEXT WEEK
The heat continues into Sunday with similar high temperatures. Areas of pm clouds will again be possible with another round of very isolated showers/storms for the mountains. A ridge will keep us hot and dry for the start of the work week. Highs will remain in the upper 80’s and 90’s for the lower elevations. A few storms will be possible in the mountains each day but those look to stay well west of our area. The next chance for any moisture around here will hold off until Thursday/Friday, but that’s looking like a minor chance as of this morning’s model runs.
