COLORADO SPRINGS- On Wednesday afternoon Meteorologist Jessica Van Meter visited the 5th graders at Pioneer Elementary to talk about weather and the tools meteorologists use.
They talked about the difference between weather and climate, observation tools, weather models, weather maps, and forecasting for an overview of the entire process.
The fifth graders have been studying weather this year and they had great questions about weather forecasting and how the Rocky Mountains influence our weather here in Colorado.
