COLORADO SPRINGS — It is the same story we have been telling for months.
Cheyenne Mountain's Devin Dodson saw his senior season cut short due to COVID-19, but the Indians No. 1 starter isn't letting that effect his baseball future.
"Actually, I have been planning this since I was 6 years old," said Dodson. "My dad said I would go onto the play college baseball, and he was right."
Dodson has been looking to play college baseball since he was young; a childhood dream that has come true much in thanks to handwork and determination.
"I worked hard, six through 16," said Dodson. "My sophomore year, I went from 73 MPH on the mound to 84. That really pumped it up, that really got it going and got me ready for college."
Now the University of South Carolina-Lancaster commit is just happy he can continue his baseball career.
"It is kind of my life since 6-years," said Dodson. "I do not know much else."
