He can run, catch and pass. Palmer Ridge senior Anthony 'Deuce' Roberson has been doing it all for the Bears this year.
"If you are doing something right, people are going to notice it," Roberson said.
So what does he like the most?
"I like winning," Roberson said. "Whether it's throwing, whether its running, whether its sitting on the sidelines clapping my hands all game for whoever is in the end zone. I am going to do it."
Roberson has done it all well. The senior has 10 total touchdowns on the season, with more than 300 total yards on the air and ground.
"A lot of people ask how did you get this good or how did they get that good?," Roberson said. "I don't know? I look at it like a job; like it's my passion. I want to do this for a living, without it I don't know where I would be."
But the real question, where did the name 'Deuce' come from?
"I wanted to go by another for a little bit but then I just stuck with 'Deuce'," Roberson said. "It's pretty catchy, people catch onto it. People do not forget my name because I am named 'Deuce'."
If you have free Friday night, go see the kid with a name that's hard to miss, before he 'Deuces' from the Bears.
