COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorao — The Doherty Spartans held off the Lewis-Palmer Rangers 83-79 Friday to hold onto the number one spot in the 5A/4A Pikes Peak Division.
Both teams were undefeated heading into the contest at Doherty High School.
With the win, the 4-0 Spartans will and face Air Academy on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the 3-1 Rangers will head to Pueblo to take on the 2-1 East High Eagles on Saturday.
