COLORADO SPRINGS — Whether you're interested in cars, want to support a local business, or you're looking for ways to give back this holiday season, there's a Cars and Coffee Toy Drive happening in Colorado Springs that has something for you!

On Sunday, the social group Pikes Peak Unrivaled is welcoming folks to Moglo Espresso (101 Fontaine Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO) for a Cars and Coffee meet, but what makes this event so special is that they are also asking folks to drop off toy donations for local kids.

The toy drive kicked off at 10 .m. and wraps up at 2 p.m.

Pikes Peak Unrivaled started back in 2016, and the group uses cars to educate their community - but also give back.

This time, they want to recognize kids and make this a fun and safe space for people to come together.

"We just try to keep it open, keep it friendly," said Kenneth Loflin, the lead at Pikes Peak Unrivaled. "We are pet friendly, kid friendly and we just love to see everybody!"

They're looking for folks to donate toys for newborn children up to the age of 12.

"[Kids] don't really have a voice like the adults do," Loflin explained "And so, we just wanted to say, 'You know what, kids? You guys are not unheard, you're not unseen' and we want to at least appreciate them."

Loflin also emphasized that it doesn't matter what you drive. If cars are your passion, this group wants to help support your goals!

Those toys collected on Sunday will go to Christmas Unlimited, a charity in El Paso County which provides gifts to children in need.

Pikes Peak Unrivaled plans deliver the toys on Monday, and this week, Christmas Unlimited will allow kids to pick out their own toys.
