PUEBLO – There is a disgusting, ongoing problem at a popular area in Pueblo and Pueblo West.
The Honor Farm is facing issues of illegal dumping and littering.
The City of Pueblo and Pueblo West are teaming up to solve the issue.
To start, they plan to find ways to block access ways, which are only meant for people with permission or district and city crews.
“It is not only a great eyesore, it is costing the Parks Department many hours of labor by having people go out there to clean that mess up when their hours can be devoted to better things,” said Pueblo Public Information Officer, Debra Hill.
The district and city hope to have the access ways blocked off by mid-may.
