PUEBLO – Folks in Pueblo are bringing awareness toward a horrific crime.
The CSU Pueblo Sociology and Criminology Club along with Pueblo Rape Crisis Services have made shirts to raise awareness about sexual violence.
The groups are calling the this the Clothesline Project because the shirts will be hung all over the CSU Pueblo Campus.
The students and volunteers are making the shirts in time for the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event.
“We decided to do this so all survivors and their support systems can have a way to share their voice,” said Pueblo Rape Crisis Services Outreach Coordinator, Shelby Serena.
The event will take place on April 13th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at CSU Pueblo.
