COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado Springs police arrested a man who was considered armed and dangerous and wanted on multiple felony warrants early Tuesday morning.

Police arrested 30-year-old Glen Mitchell Frost after they said he tried to escape off of a fourth-floor balcony at a hotel near the intersection of Academy and Voyager.

CSPD said officers received a tip and made contact with him around 2 a.m. Tuesday, and that’s when he started throwing pillows onto the ground from his balcony and tried to tie bedsheets together in an attempt to escape. However, police said he did not jump.

Following a short standoff, Frost came out of his room and was taken into custody.

Fountain police issued a warning about Frost earlier this month, saying he was wanted on multiple felony warrants, which included escaping from community corrections.
