THORNTON – A Thornton Police officer is recovering Monday after being hit by a suspected drunk driver.
Just before 5 a.m. Monday morning, 29-year-old Brittany Noll hit the patrol car at I-25 and 104th Ave. She was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.
Police tweeted that the crash was preventable and that you always need to move over and slow down when passing a vehicle stopped on the side of the road.
And of course, don’t drink and drive.
Reminder, earlier incident in which our officer’s vehicle was struck was no “accident” it was a “crash” that was very preventable. Driver was arrested for investigation of “Driving under the Influence”. Move over, slow down, and do not drink or drug, and drive – “SAVES LIVES”!
