COLORADO SPRINGS- Plans continue to move forward for the Robson Arena project on Colorado College’s campus.
Months into getting feedback from the community- the planners announced this month that big changes are on the way.
Among the changes include a parking garage with anywhere from 300-350 spaces, which could be good news for many concerned neighbors in the area.
‘We’ve continued the dialogue, very very sequentially relative to as the information has come out,’ said Chris Coulter, Associate Vice President of Facility Services at Colorado College.
Meetings have been held monthly since the start of the year to address ongoing concerns.
‘We’ve actually had our own meetings with neighborhood groups, community organizations and other folks that are sort of interested parties,’ said Coulter.
With the added parking garage, it means a change in location for the actual arena- it will still be within the designated block near Cache La Poudre, but will move to the north side of the area.
