Forestry workers continue to remove storm-damaged trees

COLORADO SPRINGS — The Forestry Division with the city of Colorado Springs has provided an update on blizzard recovery.

It has been nearly one week since the Bomb Cyclone hit the city with hurricane-force wind gusts and the efforts to clean up continue.

Forestry workers say they have received 170 reports of damaged or fallen trees.

Right now workers are prioritizing the removal of those trees based on impact, safety and extent of damage.
