Earthquake rattles subdivision near Alamosa

SOUTHERN COLORADO – An earthquake rattled southern Colorado Wednesday night.

The quake happened right at 8:39 p.m. between the Great Sand Dunes and Blanca Peak.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake registered at 3.8.

Resident in the nearby Zapata subdivision said they felt the quake.

At this time, there have been no reports of damage.
