HUERFANO COUNTY – Colorado State Patrol reports Highway 12 is fully closed between La Veta and Cuchara due to downed power lines in the roadway. The blockage is at mile marker 9.
CSP says there is no estimated time for reopening of the road.
A message from San Isabel Electric Association says lineworkers are aware of an outage in the Cuchara area impacting about 200 meters of line.
The most recent update from SIEA was at 9:56 a.m. They’ll send out new information about every two hours or if power is expected to be restored sooner.
