COLORADO SPRINGS – Gold Hill Officers received a narcotics tip Sunday afternoon leading them to a campsite around East Las Vegas St. just off Highway 24.
When officers confronted the individuals, one male took off running but was caught a short time later.
After further investigation, officers discovered three of the individuals were wanted on felony and misdemeanor warrants, including the person that tried to run.
A fourth person was arrested on narcotics charges.
The three individuals with warrants were taken to the El Paso County jail. Paul Knighting, 47, was charged with unlawful distribution of a scheduled II controlled substance.
