Victim of a construction site theft? Woodland Park Police is looking to return your stuff

WOODLAND PARK – Woodland Park police have recovered all sorts of stolen items from construction sites, and they want to return it to its rightful owner.

They say they thefts all happened in El Paso and Teller counties. If you believe that some of the items could be yours, you will need to have proof.

“If you can supply us with a police report, where it was reported stolen, we can identify the equipment in any way,” said Commander Jim Halloran, Woodland Park Police Department.

You can also bring in receipts and or any serial numbers you may have.

To date, more than $20,000 worth of goods have been returned.
