SUMMIT COUNTY – Colorado State Patrol wants to remind drivers of the Move Over law.
The agency is reiterating the importance of the law on social media after an emergency vehicle was hit from behind over the weekend while parked on the side of the road on Vail Pass.
The incident is come with a bit of irony, as the emergency vehicle, seen above, was emblazoned with a large “it’s the law, move over” sticker.
CSP Eagle reports the driver of the emergency vehicle walked away from the wreck without injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle was cited for failing to yield to a stationary emergency vehicle.
