COLORADO SPRINGS – Close to a hundred million people across the country will be tuning in and making Super Bowl Sunday a party. Getting ready for the party is big business.

Extra Boston Lager is in the house at Fox and Hound Pub and Grill in Colorado Springs. Fans of any team are welcome, but the sports pub has been adopted by Patriots fans living in the mountain west. “They’re the largest Patriots watch group west of the Mississippi,” said Fox & Hound Manager, James Fikes. The crowd he expects will require extra staff moving fast.  “We order extra wings, extra beer, yah we’re stocked up for the weekend  It’s going to be a lot of fun, a lot of food.”

Extra ingredients are also in the coolers at Louie’s Pizza in Colorado Springs. “We’ll do a lot of extra prep work. The employees will come in real early Sunday morning to get started,” said Louie’s Owner, Louie Sciarrotta.  The local eatery has been around more than 30 years. Super Bowl Sunday brings a business boost during the winter.  “January and February are the slowest months of the year. So when Super Bowl comes along, it’s a great shot in the arm. We’ll probably do 60% more than normal. Now if the Broncos were playing we’d do double.”
