SOUTHERN COLORADO – A winter storm moved into Colorado Saturday, bringing snow to the mountains and flurries to lower elevations.
Temperatures are expected to remain cold throughout the week with highs stuck in the 30s for most of the area.
The following schools are on a delay for Monday, Dec. 3rd.
- Cripple Creek-Victor: 2 Hours Late
- Huerfano Re-1: 2 Hours Late, No AM preschool
- La Veta Sch. Dist. RE-2: 2 Hours Late, No Pre-School
- Pueblo Dist. 70: Only Mountain Schools 2 hour delay
If you’re headed out the door this morning, some residential streets could be a little slick, depending on your neighborhood.

I-25: I-25 from Pueblo to Denver is mostly wet. South of Pueblo, more snow fell around Walsenburg and Trinidad, creating some slushy and slick spots in that stretch.
Highway 24: Parts of Highway 24 from Woodland Park to Colorado Springs are snow-covered. Some lanes of 24 from Colorado Springs to Limon are snow-covered.
Highway 115: 115 is snow-covered around Fort Carson and Penrose
Highway 50: Highway 50 is clear from Cañon City to the Kansas border
