COLORADO SPRINGS – “Accident Alert” or “Cold Reporting” is no longer in effect in the City of Colorado Springs and Fountain.

The roads have improved considerably with all of today’s sunshine and we’ve seen a huge melt off through the day. Though, you’ll still want to be a little cautious tonight and tomorrow morning. Any of the areas where the snow melted and caused the streets to become wet will freeze over after the sun goes down.

You also want to be cautious in shady areas where the sun didn’t help out much. Any moisture on bridges, ramps and overpasses may also become icy overnight.
