WOODLAND PARK – If you happen to see smoke along Highway 67 north of Woodland Park, there’s nothing to worry about.
Fire crews are clearing away grasses and other fuels through a prescribed burn near Trout Creek. Crews began the burn at around 9:00 a.m. this morning.
As of 2:00 p.m. fire crews have completed ignitions for today on the Trout Creek burn. a total of 247 acres were successfully treated. Smoke will continue to be visible as fuels in the interior continue to burn.
