DENVER – A Denver Police officer is in the hospital in stable condition after being shot early Sunday morning. According to DPD, the officer has non-life threatening injuries.
The officer responded to a call on Denver’s west side near 10th and Sheridan when the shooting happened. We do know that the suspect in the shooting is in custody. Their name has not been released.
