PUEBLO – The woman considered a person of interest in the September 25th  killing of 64-year-old Parvez Daruwala is now charged with first-degree murder.

38-year-old Lupe Flores was arrested last week when she crashed into a home on Abriendo Avenue.

At the time, Flores was charged with driving while under the influence, robbery for a carjacking on Solar Drive, plus theft and criminal mischief for an incident on W. Northern Ave.  Police say all of those incidents happened on Friday.

Police did not elaborate on a possible connection between Daruwala and Flores. He was found dead inside his home on the northside of Pueblo.

Investigators have not shared how Darwala died or any circumstances leading up to his death.

Online court records show Flores has recent pending charges against her for first-degree murder, first-degree kidnapping, second-degree kidnapping, and trespassing with intent to commit other crimes.

The Rocky Ford neighbor has a long history of other crimes.
