Pueblo Police looking for shooting suspects

PUEBLO – A man is recovering in the hospital Tuesday morning after he was shot Monday afternoon in Pueblo.

Police say 28-year old Jason Ayala walked into the “Chug-a-Mug” at 1501 E. Evans Avenue just before 5:00 p.m. and said that he’s just been shot.

Ayala was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries and he expected to recover.

Detectives investigating the shooting have identified two suspects believed to be involved in the shooting. Police are looking for 37-year-old Joshua Lee Howard and 30-year-old Holly Kristine Moreno.

Howard is described as a Hispanic male, 6 feet tall, 220 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Moreno is described as White female, 5’4″, 200 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

They were last seen driving an older, dark colored sedan. Police are unsure of the make and model of the car. If you have any information, you’re asked to please contact the Pueblo Police.
