COLORADO SPRINGS – Students at Broadmoor Elementary celebrated their efforts in raising food for Care and Share food bank this week by digging in at a pizza party.
Their Peanut Butter for Pizza Drive was such a success that the school has peanut butter spilling out into the hallways. Over the span of two weeks the students collected 746 pounds of it!
The whole school took part, but it was the 4th and 6th graders that brought in the majority of the donation.
