MASSACHUSETTS – A convenience store clerk in Fitchburg, Massachusetts got a few chuckles and likely some great Instagram or Snapchat content when a couple of beavers wandered into the store this week.

The pair waddled into the shop with the help of a couple automatic doors at Cumberland Farms. The larger animal seemed determined to head to the back of the store while the smaller beaver stopped a few times to possibly ponder “where are we?”.

What they were looking for we’ll never know.

But it wasn’t too long before they realized they weren’t getting closer to a stand of trees or a waterway.  One beaver made a beeline for the door, leaving a friend behind.

The clerk had to coax the other, after a few snaps, to head back out.
