COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado Springs Police are looking for a man accused of robbing the First Bank at 817 Village Center Drive last week.
The incident happened on September 18 around 10:45 a.m. Police said a man entered the bank, pointed a gun at bank tellers and demanded cash.
The man then reportedly fled the scene on foot. He is described as 35-45-year-old man, 5’9″ to 5’10”, stocky build, broad shoulders and may have had a shaved or bald head.
The man reportedly wore prescription glasses, a Denver Broncos cap, gray t-shirt, and dark pants.
Police said the suspect was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun. Anyone with information or is a witness to this investigation is asked to call CSPD at (719) 444-7000.
